Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Police Officer to join our team at the College of the Holy Cross. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for providing protection to the college community members and property, enforcing laws and regulations, and performing other related duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce all Local, State, and Federal laws, rules, and regulations
  • Provide protection to the college community members and property
  • Perform a variety of duties to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Work as a team member to incorporate community policing in a customer service atmosphere
  • Communicate professionally and effectively to promote mutually cooperative dialog
Requirements
  • Previous experience in law enforcement, preferably in a college or university environment
  • Graduation from a full-time MPTC ROC academy or Bridge Academy
  • Valid SSPO warrant status
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a sworn officer in public safety or police agency
  • Valid Class D driver's license and certification in basic first aid and CPR
  • Ability to obtain a Massachusetts License to Carry Firearms - Class A Large Capacity permit
