Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Receptionist to join our team at Cambridge Health Alliance. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients and schedule appointments via Epic
  • Handle all calls appropriately and courteously
  • Verify insurance eligibility using PASSPORT
  • Maintain and support both paper and electronic medical records
  • Collect, process, and reconcile co-pays to be deposited
  • Provide financial support by processing charges, reconciling daily receipts, and identifying and correcting errors in billing
  • Assist direct patient care providers with electronic and paper correspondence
  • Participate on a planned care team
  • Attend departmental meetings
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • One year of experience working in an outpatient medical setting is preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole is preferred
  • Experience working on a Planned Care Team is preferred
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
