About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first point of contact for patients, setting the tone for a positive experience
  • Exhibit empathy, courtesy, competence, efficiency, and care in all interactions
  • Schedule appointments and procedures, following standard guidelines
  • Use multiple computer and phone systems to fulfill patient needs
  • Verify patient information and document in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
  • Advise patients of their responsibilities regarding insurance and referral information

Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ year(s) of customer service experience
  • 1+ year(s) of Microsoft Office experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year(s) of receptionist experience in a medical office
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge/understanding of CPT/ICD-10 coding
  • Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
  • Independent means of transportation during work hours for job-related tasks
Location and Schedule

This role is based in the Everett Clinic - Hoyt Avenue, Everett, WA, and the schedule is Monday - Friday, in between the hours of 6:30AM - 7:00PM (40-hour work week). Management will determine the schedule.
