Patient Care Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.
- Admit patients, verify information, and update necessary details using Epic/OpTime system.
- Coordinate with patients, guests, and family members to ensure timely transportation from the Surgery Center.
- Manage multiple tasks, prioritize duties, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Answer phone calls, screen calls, and distribute messages to staff in a timely manner.
- Act as a resource to staff, patients, and families, providing support and guidance as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of customer service experience.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work part-time, 2 10-hour shifts per week, with occasional overtime.
- 2+ years of work experience as a Receptionist in a medical setting.
- Experience working in a hospital, physician's office, or medical clinic setting.
- Clerical or administrative support background.
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes.
