Program Manager, Insurance Operations

CoPower is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Program Manager, Insurance Operations. This position is integral to our operational framework and is designed to enhance our service delivery in the insurance sector.

Position Overview

The Program Manager will collaborate closely with the Practice Leader to implement internal initiatives and projects aimed at achieving organizational objectives. This role will involve coordinating with various departmental and cross-functional teams of experts to ensure compliance with carrier requirements for enrolled clients, as well as for brokers and general agencies managing CoPower's suite of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and monitor project timelines and deliverables, including the launch of new services and the documentation of standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and maintain thorough documentation for all projects.
  • Identify and address project-related issues and escalate as necessary.
  • Analyze challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders to translate needs into actionable requirements, delivering necessary documentation.
  • Drive process enhancements and manage organizational change to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead the formulation and execution of project plans and strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to bring projects from conception to fruition.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports as scheduled, along with any ad-hoc reporting as required.
  • Promote and embody the core values of the company, fostering a culture of integrity and leadership.
  • Stay informed on industry regulations, trends, and technological advancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in operations and analytics, with a focus on process improvement.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project and program management.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and change management principles.
  • Experience in a highly matrixed organization is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry, particularly in small group healthcare products.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and track outcomes across various systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities to address complex challenges proactively.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of health insurance regulatory processes to ensure compliance.
