Insurance Agency Liaison

POSITION SUMMARY

The Insurance Agency Liaison (IAL) plays a crucial role in identifying and engaging potential clients while nurturing relationships with existing customers to promote Insurance offerings within a designated territory. This position also supports the onboarding and development of new independent agents, ensuring they are equipped to effectively engage in sales activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Development:
  • Proactively seek new clients and drive sales through various channels including field outreach, referrals, and targeted marketing efforts.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Achieve at least 75% of personal sales targets as outlined by the Agency to maintain affiliation.


Sales Presentations:
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of Company offerings.
  • Effectively present sales materials to prospective clients.
  • Demonstrate the Company's Sales Process proficiently.
  • Handle customer service inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department.


Agent Training and Support:
  • Provide field training and mentorship to assigned Independent Agents as needed.
  • Assist new Agents in understanding the sales process thoroughly.
  • Support Agents in appointment scheduling and planning.
  • Guide and coach established Agents through field training during sales visits.
  • Report operational challenges in establishing new business promptly.


Meetings and Collaboration:
  • Be available for regular meetings with assigned agents for guidance and training.
  • Facilitate small group meetings with agents voluntarily.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Stable work history with proven success.
  • At least 1 year of experience in coaching or leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through experience or personal motivation.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Prior experience in coaching and development is advantageous.
  • Intermediate technology skills are required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a College degree is preferred.
  • Acquisition of a Life, Accident, and Health license is necessary prior to appointment.
