Position Overview

The Program Manager will collaborate closely with the Practice Leader to implement internal initiatives and projects aimed at achieving organizational objectives. This role involves working with departmental and cross-functional teams of experts to ensure compliance with carrier requirements for enrolled clients, brokers, and general agencies within CoPower's product offerings. The Program Manager will also engage in analysis, process enhancement, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor projects, including the launch of new capabilities and products, as well as standard operating procedure documentation, to enhance company efficiency and support long-term objectives.
  • Develop and maintain thorough project documentation.
  • Identify and address project or program escalations.
  • Analyze challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs and objectives into actionable requirements, producing necessary documentation.
  • Focus on improving processes, managing organizational change, and enhancing program management to optimize workflows and reduce costs.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and execution of program and project plans.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver products and programs from conception to completion.
  • Generate and distribute regular reports as scheduled, along with ad-hoc reporting as required.
  • Promote company values and foster a workplace culture characterized by integrity, character, and servant leadership.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, trends, and technological advancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in operations and analytics, with a focus on Operational Process Improvement.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project and program management.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project and program management methodologies, including change management principles.
  • Experience in a highly matrixed, cross-functional organization.
  • Preferred background in the insurance sector, particularly with small group healthcare products.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Advanced Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.), with strong skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and track results across various systems.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks effectively.
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and able to prioritize initiatives accordingly.
  • Familiarity with health insurance regulatory processes to ensure compliance.
