Position Overview

This role may offer a flexible work arrangement, allowing for a hybrid schedule based on departmental needs.

Under the guidance of the Senior Staff Services Manager, the individual in this position will oversee, organize, and coordinate the operations of the Program Estimates & Automation Unit. This includes reviewing and refining all outputs generated by team members. Key deliverables include: forecasts for Unemployment Insurance (UI) and Disability Insurance (DI) workloads and funds, actuarial reports for UI and DI, legislative evaluations, and the formulation of budget documentation.

Additionally, the incumbent will provide training and guidance on complex tasks, particularly those involving data analysis, statistical modeling, and related functions. They will also lead special initiatives as directed by the Executive Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all financial activities related to IT projects, including the creation of Budget Change Proposals for specialized IT initiatives.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all fiscal matters concerning the IT Branch.
  • Advise senior management on intricate budgetary concerns and collaborate with leadership to enhance IT budget requests.
  • Oversee the annual planning and continuous monitoring of budgets for IT-related projects.
