Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our team at ForwardEdge ASIC, a Lockheed Martin Company. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating complex technical projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and quality assurance, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality technical solutions within established timelines and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and quality standards.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, product management, and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Facilitate communication and alignment across teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to support project objectives and meet key milestones. Identify and address resource constraints or bottlenecks proactively.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and dependencies early in the project lifecycle. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including executive leadership, customers, and project teams. Prepare and deliver regular status reports and presentations as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Define and implement quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical solutions. Conduct regular reviews and inspections to validate adherence to quality metrics.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources effectively. Assess impact, communicate changes to stakeholders, and update project plans accordingly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and best practices adoption. Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance project delivery and team performance.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to project teams. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain documentation and records in accordance with organizational guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a silicon program management role at a semiconductor company.
  • Skills: Well-organized, technically oriented, and a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across a cross-functional team of ASIC design engineers.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to plan and drive the cross-functional execution of various engineering functions to enable best-in-class customer solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to successfully represent program status horizontally as well as vertically within the organization.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Office, MS SharePoint, MS Project, and Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, Jira, etc.).
Nice to Have:
  • Advanced Education: Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
Clearance:

This position requires a US government security clearance. As such, US citizenship is required.

Work Environment:

The work environment for this role typically involves office-based activities with collaboration with analog design, CAD, and physical verification teams. Occasional travel may be required for project meetings or customer engagements.
