Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Intake and Certification Specialist to join our team at the Community Renewal Team. As a key member of our community outreach team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Agency's mission by scheduling customer appointments, conducting customer intake, and providing referrals to agency and community resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency cases within 24 hours of customer inquiry.
  • Schedule and reschedule customer intake appointments as needed.
  • Provide quality customer service and maintain accurate customer paper files.
  • Conduct customer intake and review customer applications for accuracy and completeness.
  • Refers customers to internal and external resources to support comprehensive attention to customer need.
  • Process energy applications using DSS procedural instructions.
  • Prepare program reports in accordance with program requirements.
  • Participate in community events and conduct community education sessions.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in human services or related field from an accredited two-year college or university preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, customer service, and communication.
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
