Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry work.
    • Conduct repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
    • Ensure all facilities are well-maintained and in good working condition.
  • Construction and Remodeling
    • Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of construction and remodeling projects.
    • Work with contractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Develop and implement plans for maintenance and repairs.
  • Facilities Management
    • Manage and maintain all facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures for facilities management.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Leadership and Training
    • Lead and train volunteers and staff in maintenance and construction tasks.
    • Develop and implement training programs for maintenance and construction staff.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • High school diploma or equivalent required.
      • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, building maintenance, and electrical work.
    • Skills and Qualifications
      • Strong knowledge of construction, electrical, and plumbing systems.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
      • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
    • Additional Requirements
      • Belief in and adherence to The Navigators' Statement of Faith and Mission.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
      • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
