Key Responsibilities:

The Construction Project Coordinator will support the project manager in various facets of the construction management process, including but not limited to:

  • Project Procurement:
    • Conducting quantity surveys
    • Assisting in pricing alternatives
    • Preparing scopes of work, bid packages, and contracts for subcontractors
    • Facilitating contract administration and negotiations
    • Contributing to project budget and schedule development
    • Negotiating subcontract and material purchases
  • Project Planning:
    • Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules and cost systems
    • Updating schedules
    • Managing material handling and storage
    • Coordinating job logistics
    • Arranging utilities and necessary permits
  • Project Operations:
    • Reviewing plans and specifications
    • Supporting the team with shop drawings and product data
    • Establishing logs for subcontractors and suppliers
    • Ensuring compliance with quality control plans
    • Participating in project coordination meetings and documenting minutes
    • Managing change orders and subcontract administration
    • Coordinating equipment delivery and inventory control
    • Facilitating communication between field teams and design consultants
  • Project Closeout:
    • Completing punch lists and finalizing subcontracts
    • Managing the removal of equipment and trailers
    • Submitting as-built drawings and occupancy permits

Maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors is essential, as is liaising with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:
