Overview:
The Lead Safety Compliance Specialist is tasked with overseeing safety
and regulatory adherence for operations within a specified area, fostering a culture
that prioritizes safety above all.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct safety compliance field assessments and relay findings to regional management.
2. Provide safety training to operational staff in alignment with regulatory standards.
3. Mentor and guide personnel in effective safety planning and practices.
4. Facilitate and oversee safety meetings, including tailgate sessions.
5. Investigate incidents and formulate corrective action plans.
6. Engage in the development of company safety and environmental policies.
7. Represent the company at customer safety events across multiple areas.
8. Evaluate adherence to customer safety standards and devise plans to rectify any shortcomings.
9. Maintain documentation of safety training sessions and report to the safety supervisor.
10. Keep logs of incidents and corrective actions, collaborating with the safety team.
11. Support operational teams in implementing recommended safety protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks under potentially stressful conditions.
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and a proven safety record.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Dependable and reliable work history.
- Excellent organizational, customer relations, and performance records.
- Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Reliable means of communication for emergency call-outs.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and holidays, in all weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in mechanical or instrumentation fields is advantageous.
- Proficiency in conducting incident investigations and identifying root causes.
- Ability to analyze safety metrics such as TRIR, LTIR, and SIR.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and their application to company operations.

Working Environment:
- May require prolonged periods of walking and standing.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and stretch.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent exposure to various weather conditions and industrial settings.
- Potential for overnight travel as needed.
