About the Role

As a Senior Recreation Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a comprehensive recreation program that meets the diverse needs of our student population. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing a wide-ranging recreation schedule that aligns with program goals.
  • Overseeing daily operations of the recreation department and addressing any issues that arise with sound judgment.
  • Designing and executing engaging programs that promote health, wellness, and active participation among students.
  • Supervising recreation staff and stepping in as Acting Recreation Supervisor/Manager when necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining a safe environment for all participants.
  • Documenting student engagement and participation in various activities.
  • Managing inventory and maintenance of recreational equipment, recommending purchases as needed.
  • Upholding high standards of personal accountability and productivity.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An Associate's Degree or one year of relevant experience working with youth is preferred.
  • A valid in-State Driver's License is necessary, with a preference for CDL certification.
  • Physical capabilities must include the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform various physical activities.
