Position Overview:

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) Tech Team is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to assist the IT and Security divisions. We are in search of an individual who possesses strong attention to detail and exceptional communication abilities. The ideal candidate will contribute to ongoing IT & Security initiatives that have a nationwide impact on end users. This role is crucial for the success of the Coordinated IT & Security Program, focusing on process development and resource coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance documentation to ensure that our policies, workflows, and technical details are current for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at both state and national levels, bridging technical and non-technical backgrounds.
  • Support projects from the initial requirements gathering through to deployment, including defining schedules, scopes, budget estimates, and implementation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Coordinated IT department to develop reporting mechanisms and monitor the effectiveness of the IT & Security Program, addressing the technical needs of our staff nationwide, while performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a project management capacity.
  • A solid technical background in implementation and troubleshooting is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, articulate goals, and foster consensus across various departments.
  • A strong desire to excel in a dynamic work environment and to devise innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Familiarity with software, hardware, networks, and other IT systems.
  • Experience or knowledge in Information Security is preferred.
  • Background in volunteering or working on political campaigns is a plus.

Travel Requirements: This position may involve travel, potentially up to 25% of the time.

Compensation: The starting salary for this role ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time role that may require weekend work and is classified as exempt.
