Job Overview

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is in search of an Event Coordinator to enhance our operations.

Compensation: Starting at $10 per hour plus tips.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Event Coordinator at Andretti is dedicated to anticipating guest requirements and surpassing service expectations, all while fostering an enjoyable and vibrant environment. This role encompasses assisting guests across various functions while adhering to the high standards of guest satisfaction set by Andretti Indoor Karting & Games.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet visitors warmly and positively.
  • Prepare and dismantle event spaces according to event specifications and layout plans.
  • Oversee the entire event, managing activities and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure food and beverage items are maintained at appropriate temperatures and that the correct utensils are provided.
  • Focus on guest details and comprehend event agreements.
  • Monitor guests for safety and compliance with guidelines.
  • Assist in guest recovery efforts and inform management to guarantee positive experiences.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Andretti brand, products, and operational procedures.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally while engaging enthusiastically with guests and colleagues.
  • Execute opening, operational, and closing duties as assigned.
  • Prior experience in guest service or hospitality is preferred.

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games (AIKG) is a rapidly expanding Family Entertainment enterprise. Our locations feature high-speed indoor karting on multi-level tracks, immersive virtual reality simulators, arcade games, and sophisticated dining and event spaces.

Skills & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A positive, sociable demeanor throughout the workday.
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands outlined are representative of those that must be met by an Event Associate to successfully perform essential job functions. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.

  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods.
  • Regularly lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Perform tasks requiring organization, bending, reaching, lifting, climbing, and stocking up to 50 lbs.

  • Manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment.
