Your Opportunity:

The cleanliness of our resort is paramount in ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty. Our laundry team plays a crucial role in maintaining these standards.

We are seeking detail-oriented individuals to join our Laundry team as a Supervisor. This role involves overseeing the inspection of linens processed in the laundry area to meet cleanliness standards. Additionally, the supervisor will be responsible for training and onboarding new team members, as well as motivating and inspiring staff to achieve optimal results.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Engage with team members to ensure a positive work environment
  • Collaborate to achieve the cleanliness goals of the resort
  • Coordinate daily workflow and assign duties
  • Inspect linens to uphold the highest quality standards
  • Hold team members accountable for maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure adherence to cleanliness protocols
  • Assist with inventory management of linens and supplies
  • Contribute to performance evaluations
  • Utilize judgment to assign tasks and manage workload
  • Coordinate with the Housekeeping team
  • Report maintenance issues as needed
  • Ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals
  • Find coverage for absences or increased workload
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

What We Are Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar housekeeping role preferred
  • Engaging and compassionate demeanor
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
  • Physical capability to navigate tight spaces and handle equipment weighing up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs
