Sales Director

At Fitness Connection, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, driving new members to change lives through fitness, and creating a strong sales culture in your club.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads a high-performing sales team, maintaining a focus on coaching, feedback, and accountability to achieve club sales results
Recruits, hires, and promotes Fitness Consultants in partnership with Club Manager
Develops and trains new and newly promoted Fitness Consultants
Identifies high-potential talent for growth and consistently recognizes and rewards great performance
Maintains strong and consistent people practices with all teammates, taking appropriate action as needed
Creates sales schedules to ensure accurate coverage and efficient use of labor hours, submitting for CM approval
Results Driver:
Achieves club and personal revenue goals for membership, service, and proshop
Leads execution of day-to-day sales activities, managing and directing all sales team activities to ensure revenue and minimum production requirements are achieved
Manages the planning and promotion of special events for the club, breaking down and distributing daily sales revenue goals to the entire sales team
Communicates consistently to Club Leadership the current revenue and production updates as determined by business needs
Holds the team accountable to Fitness Connection systems and standards, providing feedback and support around club appearance and maintenance, ensuring consistent retail program execution
Personal Impact:
Creates and executes proactive plans while coaching and leading from the front every day, adjusting based on results in real-time
Ensures revenue and expense goals are met, generating sales leads through member referrals, networking, formal presentations, and phone calls
Conducts club tours for guests and potential members, consistently achieving or surpassing personal and club sales goals, promoting and selling Fitness Connection products/memberships and products
Ensures accurate records of all leads, referrals, upgrades, sales prospects, and promotions, completing all necessary paperwork properly, efficiently, and accurately
Stays up-to-date on Company pricing and promotion schedules
