KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee the underwriting process for Corporate Accident and Sickness (CA&S) accounts, emphasizing multinational clientele.
  • Lead the Multinational Underwriting team to achieve profitable growth and operational efficiency in line with CA&S underwriting standards.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Underwrite new and renewal Corporate Accident and Health business, focusing on Business Travel Accident, Out of Country Medical, and Group Personal Accident products.
  • Collaborate with Regional Offices to provide expertise and guidance on new business targeting, including broker support and escalation.
  • Maintain performance and process standards, including underwriting authority and audit requirements, as well as customer service benchmarks.
  • Keep underwriting information updated in relevant management information systems.
  • Coordinate compliance matters and review marketing materials with Compliance and Marketing departments.
  • Partner with producers, clients, Chubb Global Services, and the Chubb Global Network to ensure local programs align with Chubb and client expectations.
  • Work alongside Multinational Management and Business Development to generate new business revenues through prospect development, producer visits, and participation in sales and renewal presentations.
  • Collaborate with Multinational Management to monitor and manage your business portfolio against growth and profitability objectives.
  • Propose and implement product and process enhancements necessary for business advancement; contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-3 years of experience in Accident and Health underwriting or related fields.
  • Ability to serve as a subject matter expert, guiding brokers and clients toward mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Experience in underwriting Business Travel Accident, Out of Country Medical, Basic AD&D, Voluntary AD&D, Scholastic Medical, or general multinational insurance is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or risk management preferred.
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Creativity, tenacity, teamwork, and goal orientation are essential.
  • Strong marketing, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven analytical skills to assess and evaluate underwriting risks.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle divisional objectives as required.
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide direction and technical guidance to foster team excellence and achieve business goals.
  • Adaptability to work within a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to developing effective global relationships.
  • Ability to adjust to varying market conditions and responsibilities in a changing environment.
  • Strong sense of accountability for personal actions and work quality.
  • Willingness to travel within regions as necessary.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access).
