Position Summary:
The Membership Sales and Customer Service Specialist plays a crucial role at Scenthound, concentrating on promoting memberships while delivering outstanding service to every client and championing dog wellness.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience, particularly in membership sales
  • Background in customer service (retail or hospitality)
  • Proficient in technology and computer systems
  • Genuine enthusiasm for dogs and their health
  • Reliable transportation is essential
  • Willingness to work in a smoke-free setting
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Ideal Candidate:
We seek a driven individual who is passionate about sales and customer engagement. A successful Membership Sales and Customer Service Specialist is sociable, self-driven, an effective problem solver, and a caring dog enthusiast. We are looking for someone eager to grow their career through our structured training program to become a Scenthound Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote membership sales through education on health and wellness
  • Achieve key performance metrics, including average transaction value and rebooking rates through memberships, service add-ons, and retail sales
  • Generate leads for memberships and follow up with potential clients
  • Handle phone inquiries, schedule appointments, and maintain customer records
  • Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling
  • Meet customer expectations, address concerns, and ensure membership retention
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area in accordance with Scenthound standards
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Scenter Manager

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Confidence in selling services and products
  • Ability to engage with clients (both canine and human) and deliver exceptional service
  • Capacity to learn about our offerings and communicate our values effectively
  • Strong communication skills with team members and clients (in-person and via phone)
  • Proficient in independently resolving issues guided by Scenthound values
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • Accountability in upholding Scenthound standards
