Business Development Manager

Reid Supply is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive sales growth within established accounts and generate new sales opportunities through business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a defined sales territory with a pre-defined customer list, ensuring strategic sales and margin targets are met.
- Provide exceptional customer support, presenting proposals and solutions, providing samples, quotes, and turning complaints into opportunities.
- Maximize profitability at the account level and ensure effective communication with the Head of Sales and other senior managers.
- Conduct in-depth sales analysis to determine strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities within the territory.
- Evaluate incoming opportunities and take effective action as required.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, building and developing relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Associates Degree or equivalent, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Proven successful business-to-business sales experience is required.
- Previous experience working directly (or indirectly) with an 'Industrial supplies' reseller or distribution business is preferred.
- CRM Experience.
- A valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and the ability to travel are also required.

This is a remote-based role with the expectation of working from the Norton Shores office on a regular basis (flexible based on distance).
