Job Overview

Marsden Central is seeking a highly driven and motivated sales professional to fill our Business Development Executive position. This dynamic role will focus on new B2B development with a heavy emphasis on networking and prospecting for the Omaha, NE and Des Moines, IA areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new revenue and meet sales targets
  • Gather and utilize business intelligence on prospects to support cold calls, RFP responses, walkthroughs, presentations, and new business generation
  • Build a customer network of property and facility management professionals
  • Participate in our sales cadence and engage in weekly reporting and prospecting activity
  • Maintain CRM for sales and pipeline tracking
  • Assist National Accounts team with strategic sales initiatives
  • Active participation in Omaha, NE and Des Moines, IA based trade organizations

Requirements
  • 2+ years of B2B experience preferred
  • 2+ years of selling in a service-related industry preferred
  • High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM)
  • Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making the sale
  • Highly self-motivated, goal-driven and entrepreneurial is required
Work Environment
  • Hours typically occur within normal business hours, 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday
  • 10% required travel
  • Frequent driving between accounts, meetings and walkthroughs will occur throughout a typical workday
