Job Description

We are a rapidly growing Family Law Firm in San Diego, California, seeking a Salesperson with consultative sales experience to join our team as a Client Engagement Specialist. This role is responsible for conducting sales conversations to identify potential clients' problems or opportunities and selling them solutions that our Firm provides.

This is not a Customer Service position. We are looking for a Salesperson with extensive sales and client-building relationship experience. You will receive a base pay with ample opportunity to earn ongoing paid incentives for your job performance and onboarding new clients.

Potential clients reach out to us for help with complex problems, and we believe that we have an obligation to help them find a solution. Most of the time, our solutions just happen to be in the form of providing legal services. We will never ask you to sell anything to anyone if it is not in that person's best interest.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct sales conversations to identify problems and sell solutions
  • Oversee the client onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition to the legal team
  • Follow up with potential new clients to help them come to a decision about moving forward and hiring our Firm
  • Track and report metrics relating to marketing sales conversion data
  • Maintain records and enter critical data into the firm's systems
  • Develop, Maintain, and Nurture relationships with our referral partners
Qualifications
  • A consistent top performer in sales
  • You are an organized, detail and deadline-oriented self-starter who loves contributing to your team's goals
  • You love talking and meeting with prospects, presenting to them, closing the deal, and asking for referrals
  • Follow instructions and understand the importance of policies and procedures
  • Be a team player that consistently acts with respect and integrity
  • Be tech savvy (we use law firm systems and cloud-based software)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

We believe in consultative selling where we help our prospective new clients make sense of their situation, weigh their options, and make important and often difficult decisions. We see the sale as the beginning of a long-term relationship with our prospective clients.

We will ask you to complete a brief written interview before scheduling a live interview. Compensation depends on experience and qualifications. You will receive a base salary pay with ample opportunity to earn paid incentives for your job performance.

Compensation: $25 hourly + incentive pay ($52K per year + incentive pay)
