The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, with a proven track record of identifying and targeting new client prospects, driving outreach efforts, and generating leads. As a part-time or freelance professional, you will play a crucial role in managing new business momentum and making sales calls to interact with prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage new business outreach efforts and sales strategy
- Communicate and network with prospective clients
- Manage the agency's new business prospect database
- Lead the client acquisition process, including RFPs, requests for info, and new business presentations
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking organizations
- Collaborate with the account team, marketing team, and agency leadership on targeting strategies and proposal development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- Minimum 4+ years of business development experience in marketing/advertising agency or professional services
- Healthcare advertising/marketing experience or an existing network is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Ability to work a minimum of 24 hours per week part-time
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation range: $50 - $75/hr. + commission (commensurate with experience)
