Job Summary

HDR is seeking a highly skilled Water Business Development Manager to join our team in Southern California. As a key member of our So Cal Water Business Group, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the water consulting industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement annual business plans to achieve financial goals
  • Analyze and qualify potential clients to align with professional and financial value to the firm
  • Monitor new market trends and participate in strategic planning
  • Identify and leverage contacts to build relationships with key decision-makers
  • Partner with business group leaders and client managers to leverage relationships and experience
  • Participate in industry conferences and events to develop business contacts and promote HDR
  • Manage and mentor marketing services staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in program development, pursuit management, and client relationship development in the water consulting industry
  • Proven business development success in the water consulting industry
  • Existing network of clients in Southern California preferred
  • Experience in developing and managing diverse teams
  • Ability to travel and engage with others in-person
