Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

Hirose Electric USA, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business development and sales growth in the assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales plans, marketing campaigns, and product development strategies.
  • Provide market insights and competitive analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Manage and analyze sales data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans.
  • Represent Hirose Electric USA, Inc. at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales and business development experience in the electronic component industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions:

The Business Development Manager will be required to travel up to 25% of the time to customer sites, industry events, and company meetings.

Physical Demands:

The job requires regular sitting, standing, walking, and use of hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
