Compensation: $30.81 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience: No previous experience necessary; preference for candidates with advanced life support experience.
  • Licensure: Must possess Virginia Department of Health Emergency Medical Technician - Intermediate or Paramedic certification. Paramedic certification is preferred. A valid Virginia Driver's License is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification is mandatory. ACLS certification is required. PALS and Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) Level II or higher must be completed within 90 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves prolonged periods of standing, bending, stooping, walking, climbing, and driving. Strong communication, auditory, and visual skills are essential. Attention to detail and clear writing are necessary. Ability to lift, push, or pull over 100 pounds is required. There may be exposure to various environmental conditions.
