Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Response: Manage and coordinate the response to security incidents, including data spills, misclassifications, unauthorized software downloads, system misconfigurations, and cross-domain violations.
- Investigation and Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations and analysis of security incidents to identify root causes and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Cybersecurity Tools: Utilize advanced cybersecurity tools and technologies to detect and respond to security threats.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present incident reports to stakeholders, including senior management and customers.
- Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to less-experienced technical staff members and customers on cybersecurity best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, cybersecurity, or information assurance.
- Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response and threat analysis.
- Certifications: DoD Approved Baseline 8570 IAT level III (CASP, CISSP, CISA, etc.) certification and DoD Approved Baseline 8570 CSSP Auditor (CEH, CySA, CISA, etc.) certification.
- Clearance: TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.
Preferred Skills:
- Cybersecurity Tools: Splunk, Proofpoint, Fidelis, Solera, Windows, and Linux Operating Systems.
Work Environment:
- Location: On-site at customer locations, with occasional travel required.
