Position Overview:

The Financial Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing accounting functions for a designated group of hospitals within the Critical Illness Recovery Hospital Division. This position entails leading accounting personnel to ensure that financial reporting and internal control standards are consistently met. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in managing teams, prioritizing tasks, critical analysis, problem resolution, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs and guides the activities of assigned accounting staff.
  • Works in conjunction with accounting leadership and team members to facilitate the month-end closing process.
  • Encourages the adoption of best practices and the ongoing enhancement of accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Assists the Accounting Manager by providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Ensures readiness for audits and aids in the execution of both internal and external audit processes.
  • Supports the integration of accounting functions for newly acquired entities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within a healthcare accounting setting.
  • Proficient understanding of US GAAP standards.
  • Strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with Oracle, OneStream, and MedHost is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in healthcare accounting is preferred.
