Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated Fire Protection Inspections Sales Person. This role is essential in collaborating with our Service/Inspection team to promote and sell inspection agreements, preventative maintenance services, and various required inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand sales of new inspection agreements and additional services through effective prospecting and qualifying techniques.
- Engage potential clients utilizing existing customer databases.
- Prepare detailed quotes and contracts for inspection services.
- Maintain timely follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address inquiries.
- Provide assistance to customers during emergency situations via phone.
- Oversee projects for larger accounts to ensure successful execution.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Adapt to schedule changes as needed on a daily basis.
- Willingness to travel within a specified radius of the office.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in fire protection.
- Familiarity with NFPA Fire Protection codes, including NFPA 25, NFPA 72, and NFPA 10.
- Knowledge or experience with sprinkler systems is advantageous.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and excellent organizational abilities, complemented by a positive attitude.
- Proficient in computer applications beyond basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
