Fire Sprinkler System Inspector

Wolverine Fire Protection Co. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented fire sprinkler system inspector to join our team in Orange County, CA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct regular inspections of fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential properties to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
- Identify and document any deficiencies or violations in fire sprinkler systems and provide detailed reports of inspection results.
- Recommend necessary corrective actions to ensure the fire sprinkler systems are functioning properly and safely.
- Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices to provide the highest level of service to our clients.
- Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and scissor or articulating lifts.
- Experience with power tools and ability to operate them safely.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) skills and ability to create detailed reports.
- Good written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and local fire authorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and document deficiencies or violations.
- Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Clean California driving record with ability to maintain a valid license.
- 3-year minimum field experience with a strong background in fire protection systems.
- Working knowledge of Fire Protection Systems: Wet, Dry, Foam, Deluge, Pre-Action, Standpipe, Fire Hydrants, Special Hazard Systems, and Fire Pumps.
- NICET Certification.
- Technical Training or certification in fire protection.
- 5 days a week in Brea, CA or job site as applicable.
