Senior Commercial Loan Officer

Our esteemed Commercial Team is seeking a Senior Commercial Loan Officer to enhance our operations.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to collaborate with an experienced Commercial Lending team, managing a diverse loan portfolio.
Your primary focus will be on cultivating and managing account relationships, particularly within the Commercial Lending sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Commercial Banking Relationships
• Oversee Loans and Deposits
• Provide Treasury Services
• Achieve annual growth objectives
• Ensure quality management of individual portfolios
Additional Responsibilities Include:
• Identifying and nurturing new commercial loan relationships.
• Developing new deposit relationships.
• Analyzing financial data to assess creditworthiness.
• Structuring loan terms that align with client needs and the Bank's lending criteria.
• Managing a commercial loan portfolio to ensure compliance with loan agreements, including timely receipt of financial information and adherence to covenants.
• Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all Bank commercial products and services, promoting them effectively.
• Collaborating with underwriting and credit risk teams to develop compelling loan proposals.
• Recommending suitable programs and services to enhance customer relationships.
• Acting as a representative of the bank within various business and community groups.
• Ensuring discussions with customers focus on comprehensive banking relationships.
• Serving as the primary contact for addressing service issues promptly and effectively.
• Engaging in regular follow-ups with customers to maintain relationships and address future needs.
• Collaborating with risk and underwriting teams to ensure compliance with loan policies and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting adherence to internal policies and procedures to promote risk management and compliance with regulatory standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Preferred college degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 10 years in Banking, with at least 5 years in lending.
• Strong experience in relationship selling, including lending and deposit acquisition.
• Proficient in business loan underwriting.
• Knowledgeable in financial analytics, including cash flow analysis and interpreting financial statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in utilizing various software tools.
