Role Summary:
CI Technicians are essential in providing internal manufacturing capabilities for tooling and production-related hardware.

They receive designs from the engineering team and are tasked with planning, fabricating, testing, and delivering products that meet specified designs.

Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining welding and machining equipment, as well as utilizing mechanical tools.

Technicians are expected to read and interpret design specifications, handle materials weighing up to 35lbs manually, and employ cranes and lifting devices for heavier components.

They must inspect and assess products using precision measurement tools, remain on their feet for extended periods, and effectively communicate project progress.

Upon hiring, CI Technicians are required to complete all training assigned by the section manager.

Collaboration with production and management personnel is vital, as CI Technicians work across departments to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

They will also engage in larger projects, receiving constructive feedback from shop floor staff.

Proficiency in computer applications such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Teams is essential.


Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in welding or manufacturing assembly.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email clients.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Intermediate proficiency in manual milling and turning.
- At least one year of experience in a technical service area.
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Pro E, or SolidWorks.
- Competence in print reading and interpretation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of standard assembly tools and their applications.
- Further education such as an apprenticeship program or trade certificate/diploma.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
- Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems effectively.
- Capacity to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.

Additional Information:
Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: M-Th 6 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Overtime may be required based on business needs.
