Piper Companies is currently in search of a Senior Engineering Process Specialist to support a leading global pharmaceutical firm that develops a variety of solutions for chronic and life-threatening ailments. The Process Engineer will be part of an international team of manufacturing experts dedicated to enhancing system performance and equipment dependability. This role will focus on the Fill/Finish sector, overseeing compliance and capacity enhancement initiatives. The Senior Engineering Process Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective operation of equipment and processes, influencing projects at the departmental, site, and organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Engineering Process Specialist:

  • Engage in initiatives aimed at system enhancement and equipment reliability to fulfill business and regulatory standards. Act as the Filling representative for the local site, collaborating with peers across global locations. Formulate and implement company-wide strategies for formulation areas.
  • Spearhead projects aimed at increasing capacity in filling operations.
  • Drive cross-functional process enhancements involving various groups and internal stakeholders.
  • Create strategies to boost the efficiency of processes or systems, alongside maintenance plans for existing equipment and tools.
  • Utilize root cause analysis and green belt methodologies to enhance the performance of current processes or systems.
  • Develop and oversee project budgets for process and system improvements.
  • Participate in response activities during events.
  • Facilitate the technical growth of Process Maintenance Technicians and Area Specialists.
Qualifications for the Senior Engineering Process Specialist:
  • Significant experience in engineering within the industry.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting process-related issues or deviations.
  • Background in process optimization or improvement.
  • Familiarity with external audits and regulatory compliance in filling operations.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
