Job Summary

Carolina Comfort Air Inc is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Specialist to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including tractors, bushhogs, and hook trucks, to perform tasks such as mowing, cutting, and weed eating.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate tractors, bushhogs, and hook trucks to perform tasks such as mowing, cutting, and weed eating.
  • Drive Heavy Equipment: Drive heavy equipment, including tractors and hook trucks, to transport tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from work stations and other areas.
  • Maintain Equipment: Tend and observe equipment and machinery to verify efficient and safe operation, and apply protective materials to equipment, components, and parts to prevent defects and corrosion.
  • Assist with Construction: Assist in all types of construction work, such as additions, remodeling, demolition, and restoring of company properties or contracted work, including the removal and replacement of furniture, appliances, or common work.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of previous experience driving heavy equipment.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must have a NC Drivers License with at least 2 years of driving experience and a CDL Class A.
  • Skills: Dependable and reliable, able to work in outside weather conditions.
