Job Summary:

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Technical Associate to provide technical support to the National Security Solutions (NSS) group. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career in the defense and intelligence markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and develop responses to business opportunities, including federal Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Sources Sought.
  • Assist in monitoring business development information, researching contracts, customers, and potential teammates/competitors.
  • Collaborate with Capture Manager and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop technical solutions.
  • Participate in customer engagement to understand customer problems and develop targeted solutions.
  • Ensure solutions meet technical objectives, cost, and schedule requirements.
  • Validate solutions with customers through continued engagement.
  • Develop overarching technical solution graphics, including OV/SV graphics.
  • Build and maintain relationships with SMEs, Technical Leads, and Architects.
  • Provide technical support throughout the Capture process.
  • Visualize and create visual representations of solutions, including SV-1, OV-1, Solution Graphics, etc.
  • Support technical and program teams to develop scope and cost estimates.
  • Handle multiple simultaneous tasks and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in business planning activities and facilitate BD presentations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in progress in a STEM discipline with 0-1 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated skills using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with government solicitation documents.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Effective multitasking and communications skills.
  • Ability to gain internal support and work independently.
  • Technical solutioning experience in defense and intelligence markets.
  • Proven ability to derive solutions aligned with growth strategy.
  • Expertise in Amazon Cloud, Kubernetes, Containers, DevSecOps Principles, Software Development, and gap analysis.
