Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and committed Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Repairs and Maintenance: Identify and rectify issues related to appliances, heating, plumbing, lighting, and other in-home repairs.
  • Routine Inspections: Conduct regular property evaluations to ensure all systems are operating efficiently.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that both guests and property owners are pleased with the results of all maintenance activities.
  • Self-Management: Effectively prioritize and manage tasks independently without direct oversight.

Qualifications:

  • Driver's License and Insurance: Required for travel related to job duties.
  • Dependable Vehicle: Necessary for commuting and transporting tools and equipment.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Capable of developing solutions to complex issues while meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and support the objectives of colleagues.
  • Tools: A basic set of hand tools for home repairs is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year in construction, home repair, appliance repair, or related skilled trades is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competence in using email and tracking daily tasks in detail.
  • Professional Demeanor: Ability to engage with guests, owners, and coworkers in a friendly and positive manner, showcasing a professional attitude.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay Rate: $25 - $28 per hour
  • Full-Time Employment: Includes benefits, vacation, insurance, 401k, phone allowance, and reimbursement for job-related travel.
