ROLE: POOL & SPA TECHNICIAN

The Pool and Spa Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the quality and safety of our aquatic facilities. This position collaborates closely with the Facilities Maintenance and Lodging teams to uphold the standards expected by our members and guests. Key responsibilities include the daily management of club pools and spas, as well as the maintenance of residential hot tubs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform thorough cleaning and servicing of hot tubs at member residences using specialized equipment and supplies.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections on hot tubs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while executing all tasks effectively.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Utilize basic hand tools and light power tools for repairs on hot tubs and accessories.
  • Occasionally deliver and install replacement covers and accessories for hot tubs.
  • Conduct chemical tests to maintain appropriate water quality levels.
  • Manage the draining and refilling of hot tubs as necessary.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately during service visits.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all pool-related areas.
  • Log daily chemical levels for all club facilities.
  • Keep an accurate inventory of pool and spa chemicals and equipment.
  • Daily uncovering and cleaning of club pools and spas.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:

  • High School diploma is required.
  • Familiarity with water chemistry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Must obtain a Certified Pool Operators license (CPO) within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Plumbing experience is a plus, though not essential.
  • Self-motivated and capable of independent problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance tools, methods, and materials.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Dependable and available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
