Job OverviewPosition Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join the Yellowstone Club's Property Owner's Association as an Assistant Property Management Specialist. This role involves collaborating closely with the Asset Manager and Community Manager to ensure the efficient oversight of our diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate should possess a keen interest and/or relevant experience in property management, real estate, and HOA/POA operations.

Location: Yellowstone Club

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Oversight:
    • Assist in the creation of financial documentation, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance assessments.
    • Conduct ongoing financial evaluations to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  2. Asset Portfolio Management:
    • Work alongside the Asset Manager to formulate and execute strategic initiatives for the portfolio and the overarching goals of the Property Owner's Association.
    • Help maintain precise and current records of all assets, encompassing maintenance contracts, financial information, and property details.
  3. HOA Operations and Upkeep:
    • Coordinate with property management teams and external partners to guarantee the proper maintenance and operation of assets.
    • Supervise property evaluations and inspections to identify potential challenges or areas for enhancement.
    • Address Owner inquiries and facilitate communication between Owners and the HOA Board or management.
    • All responsibilities related to HOA and POA management will be included in this role.
  4. Reporting and Record-Keeping:
    • Regularly report on and assess the asset portfolio.
    • Maintain organized and accurate documentation pertaining to asset management activities.
    • Assist Asset and Community Managers in preserving comprehensive records for future forecasting, budgeting, and maintenance planning.
  5. Risk Assessment:
    • Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with the asset portfolio and suggest strategies for risk mitigation.
    • Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Previous experience in asset management, real estate, or finance is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with expertise in financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adept at aligning details with the broader objectives of the organization.
  • Familiarity with HOAs, property valuation, and fundamental financial principles.

Additional Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of asset management software and databases.
  • Strong writing and client communication skills.
