Job Summary: The Supply Chain Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all suppliers and vendors meet the necessary regulatory requirements and industry standards. This includes managing supplier performance, creating and maintaining a database of material information, and providing compliance information to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management: Develop and implement strategies to manage suppliers and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Database Management: Create and maintain a database of material information to ensure accurate and up-to-date compliance information.
- Customer Support: Provide compliance information to customers and respond to their requests in a timely manner.
- Regulatory Expertise: Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Training and Development: Develop and provide training to associates on regulatory and compliance topics.
- Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert on material compliance regulations and best practices in the medical device industry.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a regulated industry, such as medical devices or aerospace.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience with a proven track record of success.
- Skills: Proficient with Microsoft office software, especially Excel and Word. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Working Conditions:
- Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment exposed to moving mechanical parts and restricted gowning requirements.
