Your Impact: This position is accountable for overseeing kitchen management functions and improving the performance of the assigned bar and restaurant location. In alignment with our Lifestyle brand strategy, this role aims to foster positive and unforgettable experiences for our patrons.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Under the guidance of the General Manager, lead and manage the Assistant Kitchen Manager and back-of-house team to uphold food safety standards and health regulations.
  • Oversee and audit inventory while controlling the cost of goods, ensuring follow-up on assigned reports.
  • Manage inventory levels to facilitate appropriate purchasing.
  • Assist with food preparation and cooking according to recipe specifications.
  • Actively participate in recruitment efforts for the restaurant, including supporting staffing during turnover and high-demand events.
  • Ensure that service areas, including the kitchen and bar, consistently meet or exceed internal standards.
  • Achieve financial objectives and work to expand sales and customer base.
  • Contribute to the development plans for the back-of-house team, including scheduling meetings and check-ins.
  • Maintain regular communication with staff and leadership, connecting with district teams and corporate partners to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage back-of-house schedules, adhering to scheduling guidelines to meet customer service expectations, with schedules posted at least two weeks in advance.
  • Monitor the condition of kitchen equipment and appliances, scheduling regular maintenance and repairs as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable food safety standards, both internal and external.
  • Document performance issues, recognize staff contributions, and conduct employee reviews in collaboration with the General Manager.
  • Complete additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • ServSafe certification is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading kitchen operations in a bar or restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Capacity to multitask, maintain urgency, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A team player with a positive demeanor and exceptional customer service skills.
