About the Role

The Executive Chef Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Your primary focus will be on preparing and cooking a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and various kitchen equipment.

  • Cooking a range of dishes with attention to portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary work station area, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, saut burners, convection oven, flat top range, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Portioning food products according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
About You

To succeed as an Executive Chef Assistant, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a high-volume, up-market restaurant environment.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with managers, kitchen staff, and dining room personnel.
  • Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds, as well as stand for long periods.
