Job Overview

Air Culinaire Worldwide is seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality food products are delivered to our clients.

Salary:$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized individual who can lead our culinary team with confidence and expertise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for:

  • Managing the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Ensuring the highest quality food products are delivered to our clients, meeting all safety and quality standards.
  • Developing and implementing new recipes and menu items, working closely with the Executive Chef to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Leading and motivating the culinary team to achieve high performance standards.
  • Coordinating with other departments, such as customer service and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a senior culinary position, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • a degree in culinary arts or a related field.
  • excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
