Job Description:

Scope of Position:

Engaged in diverse functions within the Order to Cash (OTC) division to facilitate billing, collections, order release, cash applications, and credit management.

Employ systems and tools to proactively oversee accounts and take necessary actions as situations arise. Document customer interactions, both internal and external, within PeopleSoft and SAP to ensure accurate information capture.

Gather customer financial data, historical payment patterns, and provide insights to our Credit Manager/Credit Analyst for assessing appropriate risk on new and existing accounts.

Deliver analysis of Accounts Receivable (AR) data to OTC Management and engage in group projects as necessary.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our business partners and clients, including Customer Service/Commercial teams to meet expectations.
Accountable for communicating and resolving challenges with our clients at various levels of their organizations.
Respond promptly to issues that may arise, summarizing facts and providing recommendations for timely resolution of critical matters. This may involve coordinating with different teams to identify and address issues.
Manage collections and resolve outstanding invoices.
Achieve and maintain compliance with established policies and procedures. Adhere to defined protocols and processes regarding work responsibilities.
Familiarity with banking processes, researching, and reconciling statements and accounts.
Monitor automated systems.
Ensure that work targets and schedules are met.
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying, implementing, and executing changes to standard operating procedures.
Ensure that all necessary Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are complete, accurate, and updated as required.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement process modifications needed to maintain reconciled accounts and enhance controls.
Participate in team projects.
Prioritize ongoing tasks, project work, and other initiatives.
Assist Manager and Supervisor with reconciliation and reporting as needed.

Required Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with exceptional follow-through.
Effectively manage self and team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to interface at all levels within the organization and foster confidence and trust.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and/or Project; experience in process improvement.
Attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP).
Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deliverables and timelines effectively.
Knowledge of SOX compliance.

Desired Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience in banking, invoicing, and credit card processes.
Understanding of Credit Management and Collections.
Ability to work across various levels within the organization.

Work Hours:
M-F; 8:00 - 5:00; Flexibility in work schedule is expected.

Required Education:
Associate degree required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
