Front Desk Coordinator

As a Front Desk Coordinator at KW Property Management & Consulting, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents and guests. Your primary duties will include answering phone calls, taking messages, and forwarding them to the appropriate person when necessary. You will also be responsible for providing callers with information such as company address, directions to the property location, property fax numbers, website, and other related information. Additionally, you will be responsible for typing, making copies, sending, and receiving faxes. You will assist residents in their concerns and complaints, assist in preparing correspondence that needs to be mailed and/or faxed, retrieve records as needed, file resident and guest information, documents, and correspondence, coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services, provide new tenants with necessary forms, update and maintain filing systems, and place orders and/or request services from property vendors. You will also be responsible for distributing incoming mail and/or opening it when necessary. This is a full-time non-exempt position that requires a high school diploma or GED and previous experience working in a similar role with computers and software used in an office environment. You must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and be able to write professional and business correspondence. You must also be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. You will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. You must be able to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
Required Education and Experience
A high school diploma or GED and previous experience working in a similar role with computers and software used in an office environment are required. You must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and be able to write professional and business correspondence. You must also be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
