Job Title: FT Front Desk Agent Hyde Midtown

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hyde Midtown. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Welcome and check-in guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Guest Communication: Provide accurate and timely information to guests regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk operations, including handling guest requests, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest service and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in computer systems such as Opera, GoConcierge, and HotSOS.

Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, as well as the ability to lift and carry objects as needed. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with colleagues and guests.
