Job Overview

Position Summary:
The Guest Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that patrons feel welcomed and valued at our esteemed establishment. This position involves greeting guests upon their arrival, guiding them to their tables, and ensuring that their dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. Additionally, the Coordinator manages seating arrangements, addresses guest inquiries, and collaborates with team members across various departments to foster a harmonious work environment.

Compensation: $15 - $17 / hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
  • Oversee the seating chart and efficiently seat guests while considering their preferences and server assignments.
  • Provide accurate wait times and ensure guests are comfortable during their wait.
  • Handle phone inquiries, manage reservations, and maintain the guest list.
  • Keep the front-of-house area, including the host stand and entryway, clean and organized.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and management to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Assist with additional tasks as required, including support for special events.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A warm, outgoing personality with a commitment to customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a host/hostess role or a customer-facing position is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry items weighing between 10-30 lbs.
