Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service:
    • Immediately acknowledge and welcome guests.
    • Take and clarify orders, assist guests with menu selection as appropriate.
    • Enter order in POS system, collect money, and make change.
    • Thank guests upon completion of order taking.
    • Assemble order, work with backup position to ensure order is prepared timely and accurately; personally hand or deliver orders to guests.
  • Interior and Exterior Maintenance:
    • Empty trash cans, sweep and mop floors, clean dining room tables and chairs, clean windows and doors.
    • Clean and stock restrooms.
    • Clean and maintain equipment, including drink dispenser, ice bins, and POS equipment.
    • Clean miscellaneous interior items (i.e. wipes down menu boards, order counter, etc.).
    • Sweep and pick-up trash in parking lots, drive-thru area, sidewalks, and curbs.
    • Empty trash cans, and clean miscellaneous exterior items (i.e. – drive-thru menu board).
    • Clean drive-thru and dumpster slabs.
  • Back of House Operations:
    • Read grill video monitor to prepare ordered products.
    • Prepare menu products according to procedure, including: warm/toast/grill bread products, cook items on grill, operate timers and remove products when timer sounds.
    • Discard ingredients/products that have expired or don't meet quality standards.
    • Set up and maintain equipment; keep workstation stocked; maintain cleanliness of work area, wearing appropriate safety equipment.
    • Read video monitor and assemble products using correct ingredients and portioning, correctly package products, and verify the appearance and quality of presentation, temperature of product, and order accuracy before delivery to guest.
    • Discard ingredients/products that have expired or don't meet quality standards.
  • Receiving and Storage:
    • Receive and store products on delivery following established procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Understand and communicate clearly in English, may require ability to speak another language based on location of restaurant.
  • Ability to read and understand written English, perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply); perform multiple tasks at once; and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk approximately 90%-95% of shift and move freely throughout the restaurant; ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs.
