As a Custodial Services Coordinator at the University of California, Irvine, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Housekeeping: Perform skilled and semi-skilled cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Execute custodial duties with care and caution, using supplies and equipment efficiently.
  • Tile and Carpet Care: Carry out resilient tile and carpet care maintenance, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake various additional housekeeping duties as assigned, including restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a service industry role, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated competence and knowledge essential for successful task performance, with a focus on customer service skills relevant to the job.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work in different locations and shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Communication: Aptitude to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
