Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead our production assembly team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing floor, ensuring that production schedules are met, and quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of production assembly associates to achieve production schedules and quality targets.
  • Supervise the workflow of subordinate non-exempt workers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Acquire and cross-train capable production staff to meet process center schedules.
  • Assign work within process centers to meet schedule, cost, quality, and cycle time objectives.
  • Ensure employee motivation, counseling, and discipline, as well as training certifications are up to date for employees within area of responsibility.
  • Measure employee performance, grow employee capability, and provide performance input for salary planning.
  • Review production schedules, material, and manpower resources to assign employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality, and attain output requirements.
